UK jumps into the Middle Kingdom as a new Chinese Studies major makes its official start this spring.

The UK ArtsAsia Festival will bring the acoustic quartet Huun Huur Tu to the Bluegrass for a concert Oct. 8, at the Singletary Center for the Arts. The quartet's concert is one of three featured events centered on the art of throat singing.
