Geography scholarships & awards >> Hispanic Studies The Zembrod Award is for students who will have junior status at the time of taking up the award. The award, up to $1250.00, is to be used towards study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country. The Department of Hispanic Studies also offers a scholarship for members of Sigma Delta Pi. History majors and minors receive department-awarded scholarships ranging from $100 to $10,000 each year. History scholarships & awards >> International Studies The John R. Bell International Studies Scholarship supports International Studies Majors studying abroad. Selected applicants will be awarded up to: $1500 for a fall semester abroad, $1500 for a spring semester abroad, and $800 for a summer study abroad program. Jewish Studies scholarships & awards >> Linguistics Undergraduate students taking 200- and 300-level courses in the Department of Linguistics may be nominated by their professor to receive the “Budding Linguist” book award. The Department of Linguistics offers Teaching Assistantships to a number of admitted MALTT program students. The selection of the recipient will be based on GPA, involvement in activities related to psychology and evidence of financial need.
